How ShanduVest Creates Value
ShanduVest opens access to vetted African opportunities that allow investors to build wealth while backing entrepreneurs, strengthening communities, and advancing long-term growth. We help our users:
Turn Connection into Ownership

ShanduVest gives the African diaspora a practical way to reconnect with the continent through investment, not just charity. By creating access to vetted cross-border opportunities, we help diaspora communities give back, build wealth, and take part in the long-term growth of African businesses, infrastructure, and innovation.
Build Wealth

Africa represents one of the most compelling long-term growth opportunities in the world. By 2050, the continent is projected to be home to one in four people globally, with a young population helping drive demand, innovation, and workforce growth. More than 400 African companies already generate annual revenues of $1 billion or more, yet many promising businesses remain difficult for global investors to access. ShanduVest creates a welcoming pathway for investors to learn about African markets, understand emerging opportunities, and participate in investments that connect personal legacy with long-term financial growth.
Equip Entrepreneurs to Grow

Africa’s entrepreneurs are not waiting for change. Across clean energy, agriculture, infrastructure, technology, and other fast-growing sectors, they are building solutions to real, unmet needs. What many need now is better access to capital, visibility, and support. ShanduVest is committed to helping promising African entrepreneurs and SMEs become more investment-ready, transparent, and better positioned to attract sustainable capital that can help them scale.
Invest in Energy that Moves Communities Forward

Reliable energy is one of the foundations of economic growth. ShanduVest prioritizes renewable energy opportunities that can help reduce energy costs, improve resilience, and support businesses, schools, farms, and communities across Africa. Through clean energy investment, we aim to create returns that reach beyond the balance sheet.
Creating value starts with choosing the right opportunities. Before ShanduVest presents a business, project, or entrepreneur to potential investors, each opportunity must move through a structured review process designed to evaluate credibility, compliance, financial viability, and long-term impact.

Tanya Chiwara, PMVA, ENV SP
Tanya Chiwara is a U.S.-based Energy Engineer and Social Entrepreneur who has a bold vision: to unlock wealth, sustainability, and opportunity by connecting global investors with the vast potential of African small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Tanya experienced firsthand the limitations caused by energy insecurity—and the transformative power that access to resources can have on individuals and communities. This personal journey sparked a lifelong commitment to renewable energy, economic empowerment, and systems that work.
With a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology and a minor in Energy Engineering, Tanya has built a thriving career in energy performance contracting and solar implementation. She has led utility-scale solar monitoring, developed citywide energy tracking systems, and secured millions in federal funding for clean energy infrastructure. Her work has directly improved operational efficiency, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, and expanded clean energy access for thousands of residents and businesses.
Tanya’s ambitions go far beyond engineering. Recognizing a recurring pattern—African entrepreneurs with talent but no capital, and diaspora professionals with capital but few accessible ways to invest—she founded a platform to bridge that divide. ShanduVest merges her technical background with her mission to drive impact: enabling people across continents to build real wealth by investing in vetted, high-growth African enterprises.
Tanya’s work has earned her national and international recognition. She serves as the Community Relations Chair for the Saint Louis Ambassadors Young Professionals board and is a board member of the Midwest Building Decarbonization Coalition. She is also a member of the Southern African Biogas Industry Association, The African Chamber of Commerce STL, the United Nations Association USA and the Association of Energy Engineers.
Tanya's leadership is rooted in action, informed by data, and driven by purpose. Through ShanduVest, Tanya invites others to join in shaping a future where African innovation is globally supported, where clean energy powers prosperity, and where cross-border collaboration becomes the norm.
ShanduVest was born from lived experience, technical expertise, and a belief that African opportunity should be accessible, investable, and shared.
The Founder Behind the Mission

Entreprenuers We Exist to Support
One such entrepreneur is Admire Bosha, whose compressed biogas work in Harare reflects the kind of practical, high-impact innovation ShanduVest was created to support. His project shows how African entrepreneurs are already building solutions to local energy challenges, but often need stronger access to capital, visibility, and strategic support to scale.
